For Employers and Claims Adjusters

When one of your workers is injured, Work Comp Chicago schedules the visit with a licensed provider, documents it, issues a work status note, and sends visit notes and bills to the parties handling the claim with the worker's written authorization.

  • A work status note from the first visit describing current restrictions
  • Updated restrictions after follow-up visits
  • Visit notes and bills, sent with the worker's written authorization
  • A single point of contact for scheduling questions

How scheduling works

The worker requests a visit through this site. We call back within 1 hour, confirm the employer, date of injury and any claim number, and schedule the first visit. Employers and adjusters who need to confirm an appointment or request records can use the form on this page and check the "law office or claims" box so the request routes correctly.

Treatment approach

Providers treat work injuries progressively: reduce pain, restore movement, rebuild the strength and tolerance the job requires. Chiropractic care and physical therapy are the core; imaging and pain management are added only when the provider finds they are needed. Every visit is documented.

Return to work

Work status notes list what the worker can and cannot do, so light duty can be arranged against current restrictions. Notes are updated as the worker improves.
